Sustainability at HC Packaging
HC Packaging supports more responsible packaging manufacturing through FSC-certified sourcing, renewable-energy initiatives, ISO 14001 environmental management, molded pulp, bagasse and bamboo-fiber packaging, material traceability and process optimization. Sustainability claims follow actual material specifications, certification scope and project requirements.
Certified paper sourcing and traceability
Shanghai Hanchang Printing Co., Ltd. and HC Packaging Vietnam Company Limited hold FSC Chain of Custody certificates within their listed product groups. Purchasing, production, documentation and sales controls support material traceability. An order is covered only when its sales or delivery documents include the corresponding FSC claim.
Environmental management and energy
Vietnam Core Factory's environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001:2015. HC Packaging incorporates renewable-energy initiatives into its manufacturing operations, including rooftop solar energy at applicable production facilities. Energy-efficiency improvements and material optimization support work to reduce environmental impact.
Select materials for the application
Molded pulp, bagasse and bamboo-fiber options can be considered for protective inserts and trays. Paper-based alternatives, water-based adhesives, soy-based inks and solvent-reduction processes are considered where applicable. Material specifications, coatings, adhesives and local disposal requirements should be reviewed for the intended project.
Responsible manufacturing practices
HC Packaging's sustainability framework includes worker protection, health and safety, employee training, responsible labor management, supplier control, material traceability and compliance documentation. Shanghai manufacturing is covered by amfori BSCI monitoring; applicability remains specific to the audited site.
