Large cylinder packaging: matching diameter, height and inserts

Large cylinder packaging: matching diameter, height and inserts

For a large cylinder packaging box, the internal diameter, usable height and closure fit should follow the product dimensions. A tall or wide cylindrical shape can provide a distinctive presentation, but its suitability depends on the complete structure and insert.

Compare internal dimensions on the quotation, not just an external diameter in a photograph. The wall, lid and insert occupy space. For an unusually wide or tall product, review the packed sample before committing to the proportions.

Sizing a cylindrical cavity

Provide the largest product cross-section, total height and any protruding parts. Include space needed for the insert and for product removal rather than sizing only from the outer appearance.

Review wall construction, lid engagement and the finished packed sample. Ask for a separate transport arrangement when the presentation cylinder is not the shipping package.
